Dripping or Cartos?

I started out dripping and have been for 8 months now.
I recently became interested in cartos but it seems time consuming having to fill them up but replacing an atty every couple of months seems every costly.

what are your opinions on carto vs. dripping?

I know there are probably tons of threads about this but I am pretty lazy and needing to place an order.

You will probably get as many answers as there are replies to this question, but I would simply state that it is a personal choice you must make for yourself. I do both, drip and have used cartos. I don't find cartos are time consuming to fill, but they cannot match the raw flavor you get dripping.

I use both on a daily basis.

I like cartos since you can go for a little longer before topping off. Attys are nice when you want to try flavors but don't want to commit a whole carto to a juice that isn't an all day vape. The type of juice also comes into play, vg heavy juice is better in an atty and pg base juice goes in cartos for me. In the end its a personal preference thing...

I have hv and vv devices but prefer cisco lr 510s and 306s at 3.7 to hv vaping. I also really like lr boge for 3.7v and ikv cartos for anything > 3.7v.

I'm to the point now that I'm about to purchase my first bottom feeder mod and getting really excited about it. Seems like the best of both worlds to me.

I mostly use cartos now - really enjoy the flavor and vapor more especially with a fresh carto! I still drip, but not as much as when I first started. You will find your sweet setup soon tho!

I've only been vaping for 24 hours now, but what I've found is that I definitely prefer dripping. I've been using 901 attys and 808 cartomizers. And I find that the cartomizer pretty immediately acquires an "off" flavor.

However, what I've also discovered is that it's trivial to convert an 808 cartomizer to an atomizer. Pop off the little end cap (I use a jeweler's screwdriver), then reach in with a pair of tweezers and rip out of the stuffing. Poof! Instant drippable atomizer. And at $1.09 from puresmoker.com, they're a 1/10 the price of an atomizer. They're not *quite* as good as the 901 atty, but they work great.

I use both. I drip when I'm at home, at work and in other places where it's convenient. I use cartos when I'm out and about and dripping is either inconvenient or unsafe (like driving.) I use a mod and I'm thoroughly addicted to IkenVape LR 510 and 808 cartos. They rock my vape!

I use cartos sometimes when driving, but have yet to find one that tastes as great as dripping, especially at 3.7V. They are somewhat time consuming to refill, but when you compare it to the total of all the minutes you spend dripping, they probably take less time.

Bottom feeders are great. I built a little 2AA juice box that has become one of my favorite devices.

Try to get some little soft plastic 3oz. bottles like a lot of places sell samples in. Put the tip of the bottle into your drip-tip and give two quick squeezes. That will usually get you two drops right on the bridge with no mess. Works great at a red light.

I am usually a passenger and have to drip for the driver.

I am using a CHUCK and notice that with it I have to drip A LOT more often(this thing is a HOG) and that I get a nasty burnt taste after only a few puffs.

would it be better to try a carto on a chuck? and do they make 901 cartos to fit?

Ok, I'm a noob. I've only used cartos (I love them!) so I know nothing about attys or dripping. But I don't understand why it would be "time consuming" to fill cartos. Wouldn't that be easier, and less time consuming, than dripping juice on an atty all the time? Just wondering, like I said I don't really know what dripping involves.

Why don't use the tanks ? For me it's a lot better than dripping and cartos. Just my two cents. But it all depends on individual..

i like that cartos last me a few hours before having to fill them again. i only drip if im feeling stressed. to me, dripping is not very convenient.

the easiest way to break it up is Dripping for around the home and cartos for when out and about =)

You said that you're vaping a Chuck, so I'm assuming that you're using LR atties. Yes, they burn through juice a lot faster because they run hotter. If you're getting a burnt taste after only a couple of draws then you might not be using enough juice. I always start with three drops and vape until the vapor production drops off and the flavor changes, then I add two more drops. I just keep going like that until I want to switch flavors and then I start over with three drops again.

Dripping has always been much preferable to cartos for me. The flavor and performance is just better. I found cartos at lower voltage (2.0 ohm Boge at 3.7) to be especially unsatisfying. 3.0 ohm cartos at 5V are a substantial improvement (you will see lots of people say they "rediscovered" cartos at higher voltage) but it is still not as satisfying as dripping.

A bottom feeder is probably the better way to go.

I prefer the taste when I drip, but cargos are far more convenient. I can go either way and much depends on your personal preference.

I have been using about 3 maybe 4 drips and that will last me about 6 puffs before I get the burnt taste.
I was thinking about trying the tanks but wasn't sure if they would fit on the chuck?
