Hello everyone!

Sorry for the nube question...I'm a rookie for sure. I have a provari mini. Looking to buy this drip shield in the link below. Do I need a 510 to 510 adapter? 510 to 510 XL? Sealed or not? Any help would be much appreciated! I really wanted the spiral cut 510 to ego as I already have a ego adapter but empire is out of stock and will be for months apparently. I like the look of the black cut spiral...does anyone else make one?

Here is the link

Drip shields work best for 901 atomizers, in which they will feed over-dripped liquid back into the atomizer. With a 510 atomizer, they may shield you from some of the mess of dripping, but when you take it off, the mess will be under the drip shield instead of dripping outside of the atomizer. If you want one that will look cool, make sure you get a 510 drip shield. If you want one to actually work, then you need the 901 atty and the 510-901 adapter.

Well that's interesting. I was under the impression from that they actually worked with a 510 atomizer. Thought I read that somewhere? I wonder why provape doesn't sell the 910 atomizer? Does the 910 atomizer have a better draw or more vapor than a 510?

As far as dripping goes, I have heard that 901 atomizers are very good. I haven't actually used one because I would rather build my own coils on an igo w than buy pre-made stuff. Empire mods does make 510 drip shields: Empire eGo HEX Drip Shields

Empire Mods has the 901 atomizers on their site: New!!! EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.8ohm These go with the drip shield that you were talking about in your original post. You would need a 510-901 adapter.

The 901 threading is kind of an older technology as far as e-cigs go. I don't really see many vendors selling 901 hardware. Empire Mods seems like they are really into them. If I was into dripping more, I may check out the 901 atty/drip shield combo, but it just isnt something that interests me.

I do have some drip shields made for 510 atomizers. They don't work very well and I would not recommend one unless you are solely looking into it for cosmetic reasons.
