Drip shield uses

I don't drip, so I had no practical reason for getting drip shields, but I got some to add some style to my plain old Infernos; it's worked out very well for that, although of the 3 I've got so far all have different inside diameters which is very annoying. However, I've found a practical side-it gives me some control over the airflow, even on the one stick battery I still use from time to time. Anyway, it started me wondering-what uses do folks put drip shields to, other than their intended purpose?

I've wanted to get some drip sheilds to put around cartos just for the hell of it. They do look pretty cool, and when I rock my buzz without a tank it looks kinda bare.

That's the thing-one of my shields will fit fine over wrapped cartos, one will fit over some but not others, and one will only fit over bare metal cartos.

If I slot a carto for a tank but later on decide to use the carto without a tank, I sometimes slide a drip shield over the slot to prevent juice leaking out of it.

My drip shield fits very snugly on the attys I use it on. Sometimes I have to juice it up a little to get it on. I find I have less juice leaks and a longer lasting vape til the next dripping with the drip shield on. So wasting less juice using it.
