im getting the glv2 for my back up. Im gonna get a impire drip sheild ive never used a drip shield before do i need a secial length of 510 atty or will reg length work?

I don't have one, but I thought drip shields were for 901 atties .... I think you can use them for looks on a 510 but would need a shorty extension?
Hopefully someone who knows better will chime in ....
