I have an idea for a drip catch.. Only problem is securing to the top so it's sealed 100%.. if it had a groove machined into it it would be easy( easier)

Take a ego cone and flip it upside down and it clears the switch perfectly.. Ya also need to cut the cone down to around 1/4-1/2 inch so it won't be so tall..

I thought about using hot glue or jb weld.. But worried about the clearance with the switch.. If it was grooved around the Atty then I could us something in the groove to seal it and still be cleared of the switch..

Anyways that's my thoughts..

I just looked at those empire shields you was talking about and I south they fit.. They are made for 901.. since 901 are fatter I can't imagine it would clear the switch. I myself have a 510 connection and the clearance for that is very marginal and the 510s are skinnier than the 901..

I'm only guessing so ya might not wanna take my word for it..
