So what was the conclusion about copper water pipes?

1) Don't run with an 8ft length of it while looking the other way

2) Don't get drunk and try to joust with them

3) If carrying a length in your car greater than the length of the car tie a red ribbon to the end of it

4) When you solder them, heat the joint rather than the pipe to help draw the solder into the joint.

5) Choice material for moonshine stills

 I have some friends that would break the 2nd rule!

No worries though, they'd be smart about it.... And wear some Garbage Can Platemail.

damn... guess i better quit drinking water out of my tap since all my pipes are made of copper eh?
Thank you.you took the words right out of my mouth. Unless you live in a brand new home your pipes that deliver all your water is copper. Also nickle is a really hard metal and it't wear is one of the best going that is usable so it should last a long time before you need to worrie.Just my 1 cent

Oh wow, I suppose I'm not the only one with a concern like this too!

*SNIP
That is what happens to high prices, it drives the consumer to shop elsewhere. Now I am not going to deny that no one can manufacture cheaper than the Chinese. A similar (read same quality) can still be manufactured for less, we simply cannot compete. It is called capitalism. I am not blaming anyone, it is a fact of life and we have brought it on ourselves, yet we refuse to believe.

I was happy as a clam when I was talking to Jack some weeks back when I heard he was bringing in the Ttips. I am not dis-appointed in Jack for the outrageous price on the Ttip, I am upset at Dave for not cutting him a better deal, and yes I know what I am talking about.

If others can offer a stainless tip (in the US) for less than SuperT, then that alone should point out the ridiculous price on the original. Remember, the original was brass, but still cost $20. As long as folks buy them, they will continue to be sold.

I sold my combo lathe/miller 7 years ago, because they were a burden at the time (long story). I wish I didn't or I might be mfr mods as we speak, as a retirement side line, but who knew I would be vaping 7 years ago.

It is indeed unfortunate my prospect fell through :( material cost (metal) on the high side was $0.78 per unit.

Well everyone, I received my Happy Vaper T-Tip this morning and in spite of my discoveries, I don't 'feel' like I've wasted any money.

These tips truly are a Cadillac and it's really an amazingly nice drip tip.

That being said, I think I would :-x if I lost the thing. Better prepare myself emotionally now .

I don't know if this is true with all drip tips (I just popped my drip tip cherry) but HV's T-Tips are comfortable/ ergonomic on the lips, I can barely even notice I'm putting metal in my mouth.

Lastly, no Copper/ Steel/ Metallic Taste in the slightest yet, and I don't think I will run into an issue.

That is a real shame Switched, I would gladly try a Switch Tip!

Reason I ask is I was going to get one too. I asked Jack which one he would recommend and he said the shorter one. He just basically said the standard/longer one was pretty big and preferred the smaller one. I doubt it really matters much, just a matter of preference.

Yeah agreed, I like the longer one myself, easy to keep track of since it has at least some size to it. The shorter one would be great to use on cartomizers though to cool that vapor just a little, so I can see use for both

Hey LastRide!

I don't recall this conversation but there must have been a misunderstanding. I apologize if I wasn't clear.

I don't feel there is much of a difference performance-wise but I definitely prefer the standard size, aesthetically.

All the best and Happy Vaping!
Jack

Figures I got it backwards. I asked you about a few things and I probably got it mixed up. Thinking back now I believe you said standard. :p

Forgive me a stupid question: what is the functional difference between an expensive metallic t-tip and an empty cartridge with a hole drilled in it? Never tried either, just wondering. The goal is to drip onto the atomizer without removing the mouthpiece, right?

If you bite on, or hold your e-cig in your teeth, the cart with the end cut off it will not hold up well and crush. Like the tip on a Colts.

Also for the $5.99 for a tip, it will last longer than 7.6 carts $5.99 will buy, at least for me. But to each their own.

If you really wanted with a 510 (not eGOs because of the cone) you could leave the cart off completely.

OK understood, it's an aesthetic question, and I don't drip, so I better shut up.

With the economy the way it is anything to save a buck these days helps, it’s certainly no different with me.

So don't get me wrong, you have a great point, and I bet there are some people drilling a bigger holes in their cart after reading that. I just wouldn't be much of a salesman if I didn't make a pitch for a product that we and others carry.
