This is just off the top of my head, but what if there was a tube running from the tip to the batt, bypassing the atty. Could be done with a 510 To 510 adapter like are used to charge eGo batts on a 510 charger. Hmmm, so crazy it just might work. I don't mess w/ auto batts any more, but that seems like it might work.

I think I get what you are saying. That would have to either mod both the batty and the adapter, or the atty and the adapter (as you would have the tube running between the atty and batty, then also up to the mouthpiece somehow.

Mainly just the adapter. Like, if the atty side of the adapter was blocked, and the only suction to the batt went through the tube to the adapter to the batt. The only other thing that would have to be modded would be the drip tip(for the other end of the tube). Though, you would have a dangling tube(or secured). I hope that makes sense.

maybe there is a way to make the connection have a one-way valve. opens when you take a drag but stays closed when not using. then the juice could not enter the battery.

Re-read my post please..I think it is a much simpler solution. Two holes drilled, one hole plugged and a tube. Much simpler mechanical device I think.

i read your post, we are just looking at it a bit differently. you are looking are ways to fix the weak point of auto batts. which is good, and will probaly get the job done quicker. i am looking at it more as a redesign. i don't use autos anymore because of this hole and the fact that i drip. now if there was a one way valve that was built in to the connection then it would take care of this weak point. this connection could be either built by the manufacture or it could be kind of like an adapter. just different views is all it is. your method is like a fix it now approach. mine is more on the companies saying" wow we really effed this up, what should we do to fix it"

IMHO, even with a one way valve(flapper valve) there would be leakage. There is no way to avoid it. Dripping is an inconsistency, there is no way to regulate it, since it is user defined. There will be floods, and when you suck, the excess juice will get into the batt. IMHO, there is no way to avoid it except for a mechanical seperation between the atty and the batt.

just brain storming now. i used to smoke a pipe. one of the pipes that i had was build in a way that there was a place that the tar collected. kind of like a grease trap. the tar would get into that shank of the pipe and build up on the inside, kind of like condensation. once enough built up gravity would take over, the tar would then flow down to this trap, allowing air to get by. maybe the same principle might work with e-juice and auto batteries.

Vaping defies gravity. lol j/k. Personally, I don't want my PV to be gravity dependent. Not trying to knock you, I am just not seeing that as a usefull device.
