Good afternoon, friends.

I've experienced this problem in the past, and it stopped for a while (most likely because I was using my Vapelabs Popeye which is 3 inches long), but since I switched back to a standard 1" drip tip on my RM2 I've been sucking e-juice through the tip and into my mouth. It's fairly consistent. If I swab the piece out with a Q-tip it stops for a bit, but then begins again. I'm sure I'm not the only person that has experienced this problem, so any advice would be appreciated.

I'm running a .78Ω coil and I'm using a small bed of cotton underneath the coil for wicking.

Thanks in advance.

Cool on the outside of the mod + firing a .7 coil bringing a lot of heat = condensation on the inside of RM2, probably what you're sucking up. Didn't notice it with long drip tip because it likely drips back down before it gets to the top.

That's probably exactly what's going on. So essentially you're saying because it's winter I simply have to deal with this. I suppose it's not so big a deal; I'll just carry a few Q-tips in my car.

And Filthy, I have a tip like that and was not experiencing this problem with it, but I find I get better vapor production and flavor with the smaller opening. I suppose I'll have to decide where my priorities lay.

Thanks to both of you.

Cheers.

reos are great at not leaking and are built like tanks, so i used to laying them down, toss em on the bed, jam in a pocket sideways, etc.

the problem with that is if it's wet at all in the atomizer from some over zealous squonking, you'll get a little juice stuck to the ceiling if the atty, then it's easy to suck that moisture into the drip tip.

keep the top of the atomizer dry and always keep the reo standing upright if it bugs you.

yep wide bore drip tips will fix this.....i had this happen to me from time to time and it really didn't bother me......i would just blow the tip out real quick and be good with it........but when i got the big bore tips (which i got for the reason of airflow and not the juice in the mouth problem) then it never happened again.....

One thing that can help cut down on the condensation, is to continue inhaling after you've released the fire button... having extra vapor just hanging in the atty, a good bit of that will condense on whatever it is next to (sides of the atty chamber, bottom of your driptip...).

The driptips I ordered from atmistique have a tapered opening on the bottom that tends to pull the condensation down and out of the airflow hole and help to combat the issue as well (didn't order them for that 'feature', I just like the driptips).

Another thing you can do is... vape a juice that tastes as good on your tongue as it does when you vape it ;)

^ this - I find I get less condensation (which is what it is, no doubt) if I clear the whole chamber out of vapor by continuing the inhale for a half second after releasing the fire button.

I think they are using wide bore to let condensation escape, so as not to suck it with juice up your tip into your mouth

ok quick side question, what is the benefit of using a wide bore drip tip? more airflow = more vapor? just curious... up scouring before getting ready for work, and this stood out to me...

or you could just give your airhole a little blow after tooting, its surprising how it hangs around, even after taking a drag, exhaling, smiling, then a squonk, most times after a squonk I see vapour drifting out of the tip ..

so always blow your hole :D

a 'Henry' is pretty big, for me anyways!.. I made a 1/16 in my rm2 and wish I had gone a smidge smaller cus I swear my flavour dropped afterward's, but then the sub ohming soon sort's that side out :D

Correct. This should have been a "gimme" for me, seeing as I'm basically The Last Airbender with my 1/8" air hole.

I can't deal with that. It feels like I'm sucking through a coffee straw if I go any lower than 3/32", and even that's pushing it for me.

hi zmauls,

I have a nice selection of drip tips with different bore sizes as well as different heights as well.

we talked before about meeting soon since we live so close to each together. I have some diy juice for you to try and I can let you try
some different sized tips at the same time.

Pm me and we can figure a good day for both of us.
