Waiting on my reo mini 2.1 with rm2 to come in question about what kind of drip tip is needed for this atty. I tried looking up to get some here when it arrives but have no idea what to order. Anyone have ones they really like, do they screw in or just set in. I have a copper vein color coming in. Any help would be great thanks in advance

Any standard drip tip works. They push in and have an O ring around the base that slides in. When I ordered my RM2 it came with one. Someone posted that they don't come with one so I'm not sure how they are being shipped now. Someone will clarify I'm sure. Rob has them on his site. You could PM him and ask if they are shipped with one.

Troopin, I see you are fairly new to the ECF. Welcome to Reoville. Please feel free to ask away in here with any questions that you have. You made a great choice for your gear. Just covering some bases here,

Did you order an extra spring?
Do you have a Multimeter?
You have wicking material and wire for the RM2?
batteries and charger. 3 batteries is good, imho. IMR type.

Let us know about the Reo when you get it and post some pics when it comes in.

ok so if I want to order one I want a 510 drip tip cool.. gonna go look at some now.. anyone have a preference as to metal, copper, aluminum, plastic etc.. any issues with heat or taste changing

I have not found any issues as far as taste is concerned. The metal will be hotter on your lips as you vape. Based on your vaping style, that may or may not matter. It does not matter to me, but it does to my wife. The plastic ones (this includes the delrin ones) you need to be careful about the diameter that goes into the RM2. I have had a couple that were too small. Some so small that they failed to seal. If I am in a B&M, I will check it at the store. I have never bought this type online, but if I did, I would probably just throw it away if it did not fit. For the metal ones, make sure that it does not touch the positive (taller) post when you seat it on the RM2. There are a couple of people that have shorted their mod from that. (Just something to be aware of and check.) While you are looking at tips, it would not hurt to look at o-rings for them. They come in various thicknesses. It is handy to have a supply of them in various sizes, due to inconsistencies in the bases. Also, the o-ring that comes on the drip tip might loosen over time.

You'll get a nice plastic one with the RM2 they work great. I have also found some great metal and plastic ones on fast tech. But my word of advice is load up your shopping cart with multiple different types as some fit better than others. They are cheap enough for me it's worth the insurance money. For about $10 you'll get enough to last you a lifetime. I use the stock one rob sends and a couple metal ones I got on ft. I have found that some metal tips depending on their shape can lead to juice in your mouth, but the plastic ones don't seem to do that to me.

The RM2 comes with a delrin drip tip. I immediately took mine off and replaced it with a SS one that I always make sure I have spares of. I vape at 20w and have never had a warmth issue with my SS tips other than body temp achieved by it being in my mouth. If your tip is getting hot there is an issue that needs to be addressed to fix it.

My preferences are stainless steel tips with nickel plated coming in 2nd place. Delrin and acrylic tips will work in a pinch. I tried a glass tip and it was very nice until I broke it. Tru-Stone tips look interesting, but I haven't given in to the impulse to buy one. Yet. :p I abhor aluminium tips. But those are just my preferences.

Delrin tips are your best bet if you don't want to buy a variety of styles and materials so you can figure out what you like best.

I like plastic. Don't let metal anywhere near teeth. These badass ones from RTD vapor are, well, badass on any RBA. I use em on all mine :)

They are very short Delrin with a wide , tapered bore. They kick a mellow vape up a notch or two :)

Troopin, we talked about this..... :)

But yeah, 510 drip tips is what you want. Check out RTD vapor, you should grab your batteries from here too but they have a decent selection of DRIPTIPS maybe add a couple to the cart when grabbing batts.

I prefer the plastic or delrin, they just feel better to me. The stock one that comes on the RM2 is pretty good too.

No worries, I'm glad you showed up here in Reoville!
If you only got one battery, you'll want to get at least one more, maybe two. It's no fun to wait while your battery charges to keep vaping.

Did you get a decent charger?

That's going to be torture to stare at you Reo and not be able to vape! I'd get on ebay and order wire asap, search "30 gauge kanthal a1" the seller Temco has the best prices and free shipping and they ship fast, my last order was to my door in two days, unfortunately it most likely won't get to you till monday.

Wick you can get locally, Cvs, walgreens, or walmart have sterile cotton balls that will work great for wick (my preference). Or you could order some silica while on ebay, whatever your prefer.

If I were you I'd spend the weekend watching youtube videos on how to wrap coils so you're ready when your supplies get in.

I did get some wire and wick from Rob to hold me off for a bit till I see what wire I like..along with springs,, I have 2 batteries the ones recommended but a different vendor,, a good charger that is recommended by Rob on his site but from a different vendor Just found out today that my REO was held up due to a hold on my credit card through pay pal.. called Rob again he said it cleared 2 days ago but got lost in the mix so it was going to be sent out today. got my email from pay pal according to that they got the number but it hasnt actually shipped so now it is looking like I wont have it till wed or thurs. which really ticks me off.. but i guess that is human error.. his supplier didnt ship due to the hold which I understand but it getting held up another 2 days due to it not getting checked upsets me. especially when I called the same day I ordered and asked if it shipped yet to add more to the order, was told it did ordered more paid more shipping then to find out it didnt ship. arrrrrr I am starting to vent so I will just leave it at that..
