here's what I do to make o-rings smaller:
roll the o-ring onto a metal pen and roll it to the widest part of the pen
take a sand paper nail file and rub it back and forth across the o-ring the whole way round.
shave of a little section here and there untill it fits what you want it to fit.
Be careful, its real easy to shave off more than you need to.

Wow! Andy, What a fantastic concept! Lube to make it slide in. Do you apply the lube with your fingers? Work it all around the ring? Would it work to put some lube around the inside of the hole in the atty too? Inquiring minds want to know!

well first you must be very generous with the lube. then you stroke and squeeze and pinchit just a little. also of course you should apply a healthy dollop to the insertion point as well and massage it in before gingerly placing the tip to opening and

 OMG  that's taking it to the limit! Dirty minds thread! I usually don't use any lube, just give it a twist. But I don't have any cherry vape tips except my universal. I'm just too cheap, but have been thinking about getting a pawn. Well actually I have a church warden pipe stem that I think was made by cherry vape. The guy at the vape shop I bought it at said it wasn't CV but it sure does look like it is, and it came with a CV universal

I've had some DT's that were too small- they slip right out.
A pr of pliars and a pinch on the atty to make it lopsided works for me.

Poor atty! I would put a larger o-ring on the tip before I would do that! But can visualize how that might work for you Dave! LOL
