I'm confused. So the term drip tip is misleading in the fact that it doesn't do what is name implies.
Maybe some history is in order to allow better understanding of the term "Drip Tip".


Back in the early days of vaping, we didn't have clearomizers or cartomizers. We only had drip atomizers. Hollow steel tubes with only a bare heating element at the base. A few drops of e-liquid was placed into the atomizer to vape it. No more could be used, because more would flood the heating coil. A mouth piece was needed because the heating juice could splatter and burn the lips. The mouth piece was called a
drip tip, and it could also be used to drip the e-liquid directly onto the heating coil.
Over time, as other juice delivery attachments were created, the mouth piece used with atomizers was also used for the newer attachments, and continued to be called a drip tip.
