No, to properly fill a ProTank, you need to remove it from your battery device, turn it upside down and remove the base by unscrewing it. Then add your e-liquid into the tank, taking care not to get any e-liquid in the small hole in the metal stem which is in the center of the tank.

The only juice attachment where you can drip juice directly into a drip tip is a drip atomizer, and then only a few drops at a time.

I'm confused. So the term drip tip is misleading in the fact that it doesn't do what is name implies.

No, you *can* drip directly into drip tips.... if they're attached to a dripping atomizer or similar device. You definitely don't want to do this in a BCC like the Protank because that channel you'd be dripping juice into is your air path. You'd automatically be clogging up your Protank which would result in little/no vapor and probably some leaking too.

Happy Vaping! :)

There's nothing misleading about it.

Dripping refers to a method of vaping that is used with specific atomizers. Dripping does not imply you can use that technique all the time with all equipment.

Drip tip refers to the mouthpiece. Nothing more, nothing less. Just like car refers to a motor vehicle. Doesn't mean you'll be able to take what sits in your driveway and win the Daytona 500. ;)

Maybe some history is in order to allow better understanding of the term "Drip Tip".

Back in the early days of vaping, we didn't have clearomizers or cartomizers. We only had drip atomizers. Hollow steel tubes with only a bare heating element at the base. A few drops of e-liquid was placed into the atomizer to vape it. No more could be used, because more would flood the heating coil. A mouth piece was needed because the heating juice could splatter and burn the lips. The mouth piece was called a drip tip, and it could also be used to drip the e-liquid directly onto the heating coil.

Over time, as other juice delivery attachments were created, the mouth piece used with atomizers was also used for the newer attachments, and continued to be called a drip tip.
