Drip Tips and Voltage Drop.

I just switched over to plastic drip tips from SS tips and i swear im getting better hits,am i imaging this or what,anyone know if plastic tips does this on mech mods?Im thinking its the metal tips with the added bulk of the tank does this,sounds right in theory.

I'm thinking different bore size, larger or smaller, or maybe just a cooler vape.

Dont forget a drip tip is pretty solid and heavy too,if you flatten out the tip it proberly would be the same mass as some tank top caps.

Is the plastic one shorter? Wider hole? In a shape that fits better in your mouth?
I think drip tips have some effect on vape quality but I don't think it has much go do with it adding resistance to the device as a whole.
Just a guess...

I only run these short Delrin tips from RTD vapor. I need my teeth

They do seem to hit harder and no chance of shorting on a stray wire or post in RBA

Metal drip tips are going to absorb a LOT more heat away from the vapor. The voltage is unaffected, but the net result is the same as a slight increase in power.

Just checked the loads with and without a drip tip. No drops.

Well... The voltage is unaffected if the drip tip isn't in the circuit.

If the drip tip is in the circuit, you're in the circuit too

Happened to me with a badly coiled Igo-L. It doesn't hurt, but it's a bit of a surprise.

It has nothing to do with electrical resistance. The metal drip tip isn't in the circuit path. It has to do with heat retention or dissipation of the material.
