Rocket (kayfun clone) drip tip causing a problem

I have a new toy. The Rocket (kayfun clone) just came in the mail yesterday. So far it seems to be a great addition, but the drip tip just doesnt work well for me. I dont like the metal tips on anything and this is no different. The problem with this is the drip tip screws into the top of the unit. None of my other tips will fit into this. I figured I would just keep this as is and deal with it until earlier when I went out side for a little while. We have been having single digit and negative temperatures here lately. When I use the unit outside, it is not a pleasurable experience. I havent had a "Christmas Story" flagpole experience with it but cant say I want on either.

I searched on here but all I have found was something about cutting down a CE4 tank but I dont own so I dont know how that would work. If anyone can explain this more clearly or point me in the direction of a plastic tip that I can use I would appreciate it.

Purchase this, cut the pipe section off just below the threads, thread into open for factory Drip tip, Add your preferred Tip.

I have already converted 2 Rocket Drip Dips.

I used a Dremel with cutoff wheel(BE CAREFUL)
