drip tips in the dishwasher?

I have a few drip tips (just started using 'em) and put one I was using with a menthol juice onto a carto with a sweet juice in it and it was NASTY. YUCK! I had rinsed it off really good in super hot water and it was still way nasty. Anyways, anybody ever put 'em in the dishwasher? I hope it works 'cuz I got one in there right now. What'd'ya think?

Well, I put one in the dishwasher last night, in the untensil part. I took it out this morning and it looks fine so far.

Kinda hesitant to use it now 'cuz I talked with mom and pops vapor shop about it and they said the hot water heater's are full of bacteria.

Full of bacteria... yet we still take shower's ( to get clean) with that water and you have used your dishwasher to "clean your dishes" with that water... my vote is you should be safe with it being aluminum, just make sure it is good and dry first would be my only worry. best of luck.

I just pop mine in the steam steriliser and they clean just fine. Don't have a dish washer.
