Drip Tips won't fit now, used to fit

So, I've been experiencing an issue with my drip tips lately. I've been vaping since February, and I have 6 different drip tips, mostly which came with tanks or other items I've ordered. I only purchased one outright, and it's the only one I officially LOST (I tore the house apart looking for it, and finally resolved myself to the fact that it must have been thrown away). My problem is: all of a sudden, my drip tips don't fit into my cartos. I have to fight REALLY HARD to force them in. I'm not sure if this is a BOGE GATE issue (have boge diameters gotten slightly smaller), or if it's something else. All I know is, I have two drip tips that fit into any cartos I have now, and even those take slightly more fight to get them in than they did before. What am I missing here? Is cleaning them causing them to swell indefinitely? I would understand if they needed to dry out after cleaning, or if I had to make sure to get any water that might have seeped under the o-rings to dry, but this is not the case, as I have tried addressing those issues to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this lately?

The one that works, without fail, with any carto I use is the one that came with my Provari...stainless steel with a red o-ring. That one slides into anything like butter. Otherwise, I'm struggling, fighting, forcing, pushing, twisting, and sweating...and sometimes to only give up.

vape on!!

It sounds like your O-rings have swollen. Some juices can swell them up. You can remove them from the drip tips and soak them in PGA (actually, some el-cheapo 100 proof vodka is good enough) over night and then let them dry out. They will probably shrink some after that.

The other thing you can do is replace them with new O-rings.

And, just to mention it: Lubricating the O-ring with some e-juice before installing it on an atty or carto usually makes them go in a lot easier.

My o-rings usually wear and the tip gets loose. I have a set of nitrile o-rings that I bought in an assortment box at Harbor Freight that comes in handy around the house for various needs. There's a small handful of every size in a plastic box with compartments. I only paid a few bucks for the whole set. You never know when you'll need one for a sink faucet or wherever an o-ring wears out. Nitrile resists heat and chemical breakdown and remains stable.

225 o-rings in 18 sizes for $6.99 - 225 Piece Nitrile O-Ring Assortment
