im new to this stuff and was wondering if you can put a drip tip on the ego-t. im gonna order some cartomizers and i think i could probably but it on them. im just not sure about the tank.
I don't think they make drip tips big enough to go on an ego-t attie; and even if they did, you'd have to remove the needle plate to get at the coil. However, doing all that would defeat the purpose of the tank system. The tank is also the mouthpiece. You could just get a 510 atty, a normal sized drip tip and cone instead.
Sure you can. Screw your 510 carto on your Ego-T and put a 510 drip tip on top. Best prices for drip tips I know of is GoodProphets. You can get them for under a buck. The cute ones in various colors for $1.49 I believe. I paid $3.99 for the same ones elsewhere.
I recommend a regular 510 atty and 510 drip tip. if you get the drip tip in plastic or delrin then you can also use it as a mouthpiece on hotter standard stuffing type cartos. (not to drip into - just as a comfortable mouthpiece with a wider stream of vapor and easy to remove to add juice. I do not drip into them because I only use cartos with a defined center air channel - the juice would aim for the battery). Boge cartos are the most popular on 510 threaded devices.
The ones that do not fit in a Boge or KR8 carto are those fancy handmade swirl aka twist drip tips with the swirly colors. The O-ring sticks out too far and if forced I heard they can break. One of these days I am going to try orthodontic rubber bands in that slot instead of the o-ring. The actually plastic fits in - the o-ring is what bulges too much.
The boge LR cartos work great on the eGo battery. They are soft top so yes you can remove the plug and use a drip tip. I think smart vapes has drip tips 5 for about $4.30 right now and they also have a good price on the boge cartos.
I started using one last week with a regular atomizer (I assume 2.0 or 2.2 ohms, but I can't find any information on them) and my 510 batteries. It seems to be working well. Not mad keen on the metal drip tip. The delrin drip tip is awesome, though.
