Take this coming from another noob but a drip tip is basically a well made tip that fits the end of most cartos and attys that in my opinion more comfortable to vape from along with being practical for dripping into attys. I have one tip that i use that i switch back and forth from my atty to my carto's. It seems to be made out of stainless steel and it doesnt give me a nasty taste that most of the plastic tips i used before used to give me.

Hope that helps!

Drip tips go on the end of your cartomizer or atomizer. They are mainly a mouthpiece. Some of them have enough of an opening that you can drip your juice directly through them to the atomizer/cartomizer for direct dripping. Others the juice gets caught up in and you have to blow through the tip to move the juice through to the atomizer/cartomizer. I find them fun to collect. They can be purchased from .99 to 35.00, depending on the way they are made and the substance they are made from.

Where did you get the curved one in the top left corner? That thing is awesome!

I am wondering the same thing. Are they worth it if I am not a dripper? Or are they mainly for looks?

As you purchase a few, you will find some more comfortable than others. The top part and how it is shaped will make a big difference in comfort. The opening that runs through the tip makes a difference due to how much vapor flow you will get which in turn makes a difference with juice flavor/taste and throat hit, the more the merrier. Another thing to know is that some people are very sensitive to taste and seem to be able to taste the acrylic or metal or have bad reactions when using them. I have moved to glass tips as they are easy to clean, they do not hold on to flavors and most are very easy to use for dripping your e-liquids through. They are not sensitive to cleaning as some acrylics and plastics can not be cleaned any ole way-over time they have shown to break down with the use of certain juices and alcohol cleaning. The colored aluminum ones will start to fade and the color begins to chip off from cleaning and e-liquid use.
The o-rings do need to be replaced from time to time. I have found Danco o-rings in sizes 36,47 and 60 are nice to have on hand and can be found in the plumbers section of most Lowes or Home Depot stores.

Hope this helps a bit!

Also, if you like a warmer vape-get a shorter tip. If you like a cooler vape-get a longer tip.
If you have an atomizer or cartomizer that spits hot juice-get a longer tip-less of a chance of getting the hot shot to the tounge! Bert at trippytips makes the donuts and they keep the juice from spitting up through the tip :) awesome tips, I must say!

Thanks~I do love my tips-lol

Where's the best place to find glass drip tips?

I know for trippytips (my fav and my recommendation) you can find them at Trippytips.com, mstsbakery.com and eliquidplanet.com. Right now all are out-they sell pretty fast. The link to trippytips I posted below may be having a sale this weekend. Don't hold me to it though. It is the talk in the artglass thread. I have purchased others from a few other sites and to me, BERTS TIPS JUST STAND OUT WELL AHEAD OF THE OTHERS.
The others are: Hotvapes, theecig, rawrvapor, empiremods, kosmicglass.webs and avidvaper has a tank and tip combo. Could be a few others I may have missed. Pretty good list for you to run through! I have not ordered from all of the listed so make your own choices and do your research!

They're definitely worth it. Primarily they fit into the open end of an atty, and are used as a device to drip liquid straight onto the atty (though I find that if the atty has dried out too much, it's best to take the tip out and drip at least one drop straight onto the foil). These are essential to drip, so you don't burn your lips on your atty, which will heat up. Plus they look cool.

Alternatively, they make very nice mouth pieces for cartos, clearos, etc. They aren't essential for this application, but they look cool, and do make the device in question, more comfortable in the mouth. At about $3 or less a pop, why not?

Personally I prefer metal or chrome models. Rubber I've used too. I absolutely will not use acrylic. With my experience and knowledge on all things body mod, acrylic concerns me. I won't wear it in my piercings, and I certainly won't put it in my mouth or anywhere near a heat source. Be advised, however that this is probably an overreaction on my part. But if you'd seen what I've seen from stupid teenagers DIYing stupid things they shouldn't, and the consequences, you'd avoid acrylic too lol. But again, probably an overreaction on my part. It's just the toxicity concerns me, and the cleanliness concerns me.
