Sometimes the most obviious explanation is the right explanation :D at least in my opinion the only purpose they serve is looks and/or keeping heat off the lips. Derlin is excellent at keeping crusties from forming and from getting hot. :p reminds me of a teflon almost

I'm a simple man. I like wide bore tips on my subohm tanks, and narrow tips on my 1.8 ohm tanks.

...However....

I think I have an unhealthy addiction to them. Because I love swapping them out for aesthetic purpose alone. I want various colors of all styles, to use depending on the color of the mod I'm using (color-coordination is key).

Also, sometimes I want a metal one. Sometimes I want delrin. Most times I want resin (I currently have 5 resin tips and only 2 tanks to use them on, I love resin tips).

Sometimes I even like to put a narrow tip inside a wide bore tip, just for added flare.

I think I have some 20 odd other drip tips of various styles on my FT wishlist right now. Every time I order something from them, I throw a few in the cart.

I think I have a problem.

I'm a man, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.

I have so many drip tips in my FT wish list, I couldn't even begin to estimate how many there are.

Buying FT drip tips is a cheap thrill, sort of like buying the cheap little toys that came in the coin-operated gumball type machines when I was a kid. But, the FT tips I've gotten have all been keepers!

Like, I'm really impatient. And even though I've decided to get most of my stockpile from FT, I still hate the waiting part.

But not with the drip tips. They have a great selection for dirt cheap and I'm never disappointed. I think that's why I don't mind waiting for them.

LOL. I like the color coordination also.

If I may, this is not a critical statement--I just thought I would point out that your last line of all of your posts could be put into your signature area so you don't have to type or cut and paste every time you do post. If you want to do that and aren't sure how, just let us know. Glad to help.

This quote is the best! You are my hero!!!

It's great! The red one came in a random color 5-pack from FastTech. I have quite a few tips like that that are just wide enough to hold a 510 tip snuggly. And it color coordinates perfectly!

And I know it's not an insulator ring, cause I use quite a few of those too!

It is in my signature area, lol. But I use the tapatalk app 99% of the time so I think that makes it look different or something. Idk, lol.

That must be it then. From here it appears at the bottom of your post and is included inside the quote of the message. That is why I thought you might be typing it every time.

I was thinking about getting on of those long skinny ones that are ss, but then my hubby would laugh me out of the house if I did that!
Those long ones stop spitback. There's a few on FT that include a screen that does the same thing.

For the price FT charges, you can afford to try several. I also have some glow in the dark ones that have been useful at night.

Somewhere in the South
has anyone ever ordered drip tips from steam shark. I see their adds in the side bar. I was wondering about their 3 drip tips for 3.33
I never have, but you can try and see if they have feedback.
Sorry I couldn't help, maybe someone else can chime in.
