Ok, so first off, I'm a FLAVOR guy, but I do Lung Hits all the time and a decent amount of Vapor wouldn't hurt, but like I said, Flavor is TOP priority.

Now, I currently have a Velocity, and it is damned performing great. Chucks the Vapor and licks the flavor :)

But I would need something that can give a much better flavor, I just ordered the Aeolus V2 and I'm currently eyeing an authentic Magma
and this is my question.

How does the Velocity compare to the Magma and Aeolus V2 in terms of Flavor?
And which of the 3 can give the best Flavor?

Is the Magma still the Champ?
Or can the Aeolus V2 Dethrone it?
Or the Velocity wins this one?

Thanks guys!

Cheers! :toast:

I feel like the aeolus would dethrone them all for flavor, but I have not used one before, However I own a vector and while top airflow feels a little weird it had kick ... flavor. Never used a magma but i herd its very good on flavor, but a tighter draw, best flavor iv ever had is with bottom airflow rdas, top airflow a close second, I never got very good flavor from my velocity I must be doing something wrong haha

My 2 best flavor chasers (that aren't RTA's) are the Tugboat V1 and the CLT2+. The tugboat makes small, dense, super flavorful clouds, but has a really tight draw. The CLT has all the airflow you could ever want, and I tink the flavor comes mostly from the claptons I have in it. You can make any RDA a great flavor chaser with the right build. You just have to figure out the right combo of surface area and temp to match the toppers airflow.

The Magma is a tight draw.
Aeolus V2 should be a good mix of flavor and vapor (never used it)
Velocity is more leaning towards vapor production then flavor

My top 2 RDAs are the Veritas and Hellfire Raptor. These provide a dry feeling vape with STRONG flavor. Cloud size is comparable to the Subtank.

These two provide such a strong flavor I have started 50\50 my juices with unflavored base.

Even tho it is over a year old, making it ancient history in the vaping world, I still keep going back to my Infinite CLT V2 plus. They really made a gem when they made that one, gives me great flavor and great cloud, depending how I dial the airflow. I know alot like the mini rdas, but I get no spitback with this one, plus the look of it is just classic, it's a bigger rda and looks great on all my mods.

I've found that it's not really the RDA to deliver the flavor as it is the coils. Clapton coils deliver top flavor all day long and vapor that can take any cloud comp. The RDA is important to Claptons because of the diameter of the Clapton coils. You cannot fit a Clapton into a Magma. I know, I have one :)
You'd need an RDA with larger diameter holes in the posts to accomodate the diameter of Claptons.
But, that's just my opinion.:2c:

There are differences in flavor atty to atty, some times its subtle sometimes its not. Even unflavored taste different in different atties.

Wakonda (Coffee Tobacco) in a Veritas is a smokey sweet coffee vape . But load it in a kayfun and its Tobacco.

Milk Man from Vaping rabbit in a Comp Kennedy with the extra airflow cap is a buttery fruit pastry taste. Load it up in a Veritas and its a gross butter taste that leaves a bad aftertaste too.

Mouth to lung vs lung can change the flavor too.

Nicoticket Got Cookie MTL taste like Oreos and milk. But if I lung pull, I get Thin Mints. Unflavored MTL in a origen i get slightly sweet very light tobacco. Lung pulls I get a dry slightly peppery throat hit with no sweetness and no tobacco. (Nude Nicotine Unflavored base 100%VG)

Drip tips can effect the flavor. Bore size effects overall airflow. Length can help cool the vapor.
Metal tips can add a metallic taste to the whole experience.

It will depend on the flavors and your own tastes as a vaper. My Velocity does some pretty heavy lifting, but I have a few specifics that are always on rotation in my Freakshow and Doges. Nearly all afternoon I used a Doge v1 with .26 ohm dual coils that has been killing it. No one would tell you the doge v1 is a flavor chaser, but to me, some things taste "right" on it.
