Are you going authentic? Cause that's a big price difference between the two. Check out the Hobo v3.1, its incredible on flavor. It sounds like you want something that'll give you restrictive lung hits, while still giving you the best flavor. You can definitely blow clouds with the hobo v3.1 & get very flavorful lung hits with it as well.

The 2 best rda's I have for flavor are a Tugboat V1 and a CLT2+. The tugboat has some pitiful airflow, but a deep juice well and makes great flavor with small, dense clouds. The CLT is a great flavor maker mostly because of the claptons I have in it. It will also make some pretty serious fog. I don't have a velocity (yet) but they look to be built for some great flavor AND clouds. Your build can have as much to do with flavor as the atty itself. Claptons are great for flavor as are twisted coils, but they will eat up some power quickly. If you like the velocity, I would play with the build and try to get more performance out of it before I bought a new RDA. Unless it's just a case of shinyitis... New gear is always a good thing. :thumb:

M personal favorite RDA for flavor is now the Derringer. That tiny little atty pumps out great flavor. It has decent airflow. Won't win a cloud comp, but it's open and airy with all the air holes open.

I have a magma, but hated the lack of airflow. I have a v1 plume veil, the flavor is ok, but I don't put it in the same class as the Derringer or Magma for flavor. I haven't tried the velocity but I primarily vape mechs so it would have to be a crazy low build to generate the power to maximize that atty's potential. I've also heard good things about the Stumpy.
