MVP.jpgI have an MPV 2.0 and would like to put a dripper on it. If anyone could recommend a good one to start off on since I can't subohm on this. I'd need something rocking at a 1.0 ohm or higher. If possible I'd love any of your opinions and or recommendations. Thanks in advance for any responses.

I just recently got an MVP2 and wanted to drip also. I had never dripped or built a coil. I decided that I wanted to keep it as simple as I could so i went with the little smoktch rda. It is called the octopus sometimes. It's not big but it was perfect for my first. I am now wanting to try the A7 rda. I have to keep things in an affordable perspective. But if I could afford them I would get a Tobh atty.
Here is where I got my SmokTechSMOKTech RDA Rebuildable Atomizer

Is this an all-in-one package? Like I can just buy from that link, get a 510 drip tip, and start dripping?

I have an MVP2 also and I hear great things about dripping so I am very interested.

Also, is rebuilding an easy task? I mean, I have a lot of common sense and I feel that I can learn how to do so very quickly, but what I am reading on that link is scaring the s--- out of me. I don't want my battery to explode in my hand? Couldn't I just test the resistance of a new Atomizer on my MVP or do I need to have a more advanced tester?

Building is easy to do. You would have no worries using the MVP, it won't fire if something was wrong with your build or the ohms were under 1.2 ohms.

Rebuilding is easy. If I can do, anyone can! :D

Just go check out youtube and watch a bunch of videos on coil building. That's how I learned. Also you can use your MVP to check the ohms of your coil. That's the way I do it.

I can't stress this enough : Youtube is your friend when learning this stuff! Todd and Riptrippers and pbusardo and Ruby Roo and Nick(Grimmgreen) and so many others have tons of help to offer in their videos!

With the one I mentioned you would need to order a drip tip also. But lots of RDAs come with their own drip tip. If you order that one from the site I linked it will come with a coil and wick already assembled and an extra one too. So yes, if you get a drip tip to go with it then you can take it out of the package drip juice and vape. It's ready to go when you get it. I took all of the premade stuff out and put my own in though. I never tried the wick and coil that comes already assembled

One more thing I want to mention. I wanted a better RDA within just a couple of days after getting the smoktech. So I'm currently looking for that better one. I've got several in mind, there's been numerous suggestions. But I am still undecided. Leaning toward the A7 but who knows

Well if your upgrade turns out to be pre-built I would be interested in what your final decision is.

What exactly would you say is the benefit of dripping. I am not looking for a long explanation (unless you want to :)) but just bullet points, like more flavor, better vapor production, etc..

Benefits: Flavor, Vapor production increase, fun to tinker and experiment with, collecting neat drip tips.

I would probably just get it for the look. I always wanted to get a cool looking drip tip. They should make one that is basically just a no-smoking sign; that would be awesome.

wouldnt trust the MVP that much with ohm readings.. mine fired a 0.8 ohm build 0_0 Now something about that is fishy.

It just fires a 1.0 ohm build too.. where u get the 1.2 ohm limit?
