MVP 2.0 reading weird resistances

Oh well...tell me if this might point in the direction of the problem. So I took off my Russian and was going to try lifting the pin that's on the MVP (seriously what is that part of the device called, the place where you screw in an atomizer?) and that pin there is loose, as in it floats around a bit. When I poked it with the paperclip it moved away a bit so it's loose. I'm wondering if that's the problem or whether it's always supposed to be loose >.>

Well I "think" I lifted it. At first the resistance read NON, then 0.0...then back to NON with the kayfun. Put on the Russian again and it still got a little wonky with resistances but with some light tapping of the MVP and putting the Russian back on it'd read 1.4 or something. I'm wondering if there's some wonky contact being made in the 510/eGo connector.

That happens with mine occasionally. Just tap the fire button and it seems to get the resistance reading back to where it should be

I guess this is common to the kayfun and MVP2. Just got my MVP and Kayfun today, and was very excited, but it wouldn't fire on the MVP. The Kayfun fires on everything else, and the MVP fires my T3 just fine. Kayfun+MVP=no fun.

I lifted the pin a tad and sometimes that works. Other times I've been able to fire the button, all of sudden it reads.
I wonder if there's simply some manufacturing film that weakens the connection. Though I cleaned it with alcohol to no avail.
