Hey all,

So I drip smoked for the first time today. I really see this as the answer to a lot of the issues I've had. I've been struggling to get a good, consistent vape out of my 510...without getting a mouthful of juice. I think part of the problem is the blue poly fill that I got from Strictly ejuice. It doesn't seem to hold the juice very well.

So I figured I give direct dripping a shot. And I like it a lot more (my wife thinks it's too much trouble). I get good flavor, and a good hit consistently.

I use a 510 with an auto battery. I really don't have any desire to switch to a manual battery at this point (that may change), so am I just asking for trouble? Right now I'm only adding a single drop, which seems to be good for about the same as 1 analog.

Also, any recommendations on something that would be better for dripping?

And is there any advantage to dipping vs dripping?

Thanks.

If you are going to drip with automatic batteries you just have to be extra careful.

I used to drip with my RN4081 with automatic batteries, and never gummed up the battery.
But I think if you do it enough, you might not be careful enough all the time.

Yes, definitely, because if you dip then you shouldn't have to worry about ever getting too much juice in the atomizer, which is essentially the problem you want to avoid when dripping with auto batteries.

Yep... no dipping with a 510 atomizer. You can drip however. Be careful with that automatic battery. Take the battery and atomizer apart regularly and clean the threads off with a tissue and see if you are over-dripping.

You might want to try to soften up your draw when you have the cartridge attached. If you draw too hard you can get a mouthful of liquid. Ick!

Read Wonderful World of Vaping found in the library! It will give you lots of information and answer bunches of your questions. There are a couple of other articles there that will interest you.
