I am confused. i thought i knew, and then i didnt, and then i thought i did, lol. So now I need help.

I am a flavor junkie. I love switching flavors alot and thats the main question I have.

Background: Originally i started out with an emow mega (local shop recommendation). Turns out I have a PG allergy. So, I switched to a 100% VG or Reduced PG/MAX VG, and after alot of juices and juice companies, i found I like extra flavor and sweetener so I mostly only buy from EC Blend. As a result, I switched to a Nautilus Mini tank on the mega battery. Maybe it's like a ".... dyno" in a car, but I register a clear difference between my mega battery and the wifes spinner II in performance, hers is better...

Anyway, cleaning a tank all the time to switch flavors is a pain, and the atomizers take forever for the new flavor to come through. Way too long. So someone told me get a mechanical mod and drip on an rda, I did a bunch of research, then someone told me its easier and less worry of battery death to just use a drip based system on regular battery like a spinner or the mega.

I understand electricity. The mechs dont bother me. Frankly I just want to enjoy vaping and part of that, for me, would really be the ability to switch flavors often.. at will, really. I work so I'm not vaping that much. I use really low nicotine or zero nicotine, apparently (according to my local shop) I'm one of those weirdos who just likes the flavor mostly??? What are the pros and cons to different methods of dripping? Am i missing anything, some method of doing this?

Welcome to the forums, urville!

Maybe give this a read. It is a blog post by member The Ocelot about dripping with disposable dripping atomizers. All the joys of dripping without the hassle of rebuilding.
The Ocelot's Guide to Dripping
Drip, Drip, Drip - The Sound of Dripping

Here are a few links where you can find the type of drippers that are referred to:
Disposable 510 Drippers
510 Standard Resistance Dripping Atomizer
Bridgeless 510 Atomizer, 2 ohms

Let me know if that doesn't help... I'll see what else I can dig up for ya!

If your a flavor junkie and often change ejuice. I would just get a dripper and rewick the cotton with each flavor.

Flavor junkies love the Magma RDA. Actually it's probably the best RDA for flavor. I think the Magma beats Cartos in the flavor department.

Run single coil with cotton wick. Once your happy with the coil, it will be months before you replace that coil. Bag of cotton will cost you next to nothing and last you months. I vape a flavor the whole day, take out the cotton and washout the RDA with water. Dry it, do a few dry burns (without cotton), add cotton, and start vaping. After about the 5th hit, you'll taste the full flavor. Not satisfied with the ejuice, repeat the above. Beats cleaning tanks and waiting for wicks/coils to dry up. Not to mention in this process the replaceable coils might die.

This is where I was originally headed, but I had thought that I could not use an atty like this on a battery like the emow mega battery or the spinner ii's...

I had thought, via research that:
The most power you're going to get using an RBA/RDA on a Spinner is around 11¾ watts with a 4.6v setting and a 1.8Ω coil.

Which is not really optimal..?

Maybe I need to opt for something more like an evic?

Hmm, yeah not going to work on a spinner. Don't get a Evic, get a IPV2 or DNA30 device (Vaporshark). You can still use your tanks and the RDAs. Evic will stay on the shelf as mine does.

Falvor chaser> me too, but it can be a slippery slope... costly too.
Once you find a few you like that's it... I've bought so many "great" juices that I didn't like so if you have a B&M nearby hit that up for samplers.
I do a lot of DIY juices on the side too; its fun.

I'd get a few cheap drippers from FT single coil, with cotton, have fun making micro coils to your desired resistance specs.
A Nemesis mech clone from FT is very cheap (brass is best imo) and as good as the real thing for most purposes.

I used to swap out different kayfuns with various juices. But since getting a stingray mech mod and a few different atomizers (magma and omega which I find are great for flavor and awesome airflow) I find it easy enough to vape a flavor, switch flavor. Repeat. Building, creating juices has now just become an extension of the hobby and habit hehe

Have you Checked out EC Blends. I love that place, alot of customization. And if you have the allergy, its friendly to that too.

I went from a ce5 to a Kayfun Lite and was in flavor heaven, so I thought. I got my magma and started dripping and haven't touched my KFL since.

Give the Orchid V2 a shot... good flavor with a tank. Airflow and flavor are better than the Kayfun to me.

Get some clearos if the attys are too much money. They wont look great but it will do the job for you.But drippers are not that much either and easy to work with.

eVics are great I use mine every single day and still love it. I use a Kayfun 3.1 on it. and i do have multiple tanks to swap out flavors to avoid the whole re-wicking thing.

Yeah but he wants to mount a RDA on it. Evic max is what 11 watts or 2.5 amps. Hmmm your going to need more than that for RDA flavor junkies.

Yeah but, you haven't tried the Magma. I think that Orchid would sit in the corner as well.

Yeah, I may have to pick up a Magma... I love my Tobh attys though! How much flavor difference can there be between those two, cause the Orchid is pretty close, even at 2.2 ohms and 15 watts...
