So, I was doing the wick mod on my eGo-T, and realized, once I had the needleplate out, that I could just take the end cap off of a tank (to then use the tank as a mouthpiece), and just drip directly onto the atty.

But, this being my first PV, I have nothing to compare it to, in terms of flavor, &c.

Have any of the vets tried this? How does it compare to dripping a regular atty? To me, it seems pretty good- but I still have the smokers taste...

I've done this after trying to mess with a T atty and destroying it by accident. I drip primarily and use standard 510, LR 510, 901, and 808 attys. The T atty for dripping is similar but not the best. The juice seems to disappear somewhere in the atty. There must be a gap in the bottom that creates a pocket. You can certainly use it if you're just looking to try dripping...

I usually drip a few drops on the coil, with the wick-plate removed, and then put an empty tank on top, with all the parts removed, to vape. It's a novelty, really-- something to do while you're servicing the atty.

I suppose you could drill out a real small hole through the tank, to try to use as a drip-tip. But I'm thinking it would be awkward, 'cause the coil is real small and easy to miss, even with the tank all the way out. I don't know if any drip-tips fit top of the ego-T cone (haven't used 'em, yet...)

It's good to do, to try dripping, but I think that if you want to drip regularly, you're probably better off with a regular atty, and a drip tip.
