What is the proper way to drip.. do you literally drip the juice into the atty on the part where you can see the piece that looks somewhat like a yarn thread inside the atty? Do you guys find that it does not hit as well when you drip as opposed to dripping into a cartridge? any techniques/advice would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!

you just drip 2 or 3 drops into the atty and put back on your cart. no need to drip into the cart filler also.. you will usually get a better vape from dripping into the atty. using a drip tip is preferable over using the cart. or you could take out the filler and just use the cart tip.. hope this helps. try and not flood the atty with too many drops.. if you do, just blow out into a paper towel from the mouth piece to get the excess juice out. little is better in this case than more.,.,
Anyone ever reach a burn taste quicker by dripping? Love dripping but find I have to clean them more often. (510 & 901 Attys)
I can't say i get the burn taste - if its almost dry it tastes a bit harsh but I usually drip again before that - I like strong flavor 
And yes - I drip directly on the 'tiny metal mushroom head' bit - most times I hit it dead on, occasionally it misses but not enough to flood (unless Ive gone squeeze bottle crazy lol)
I do use the empty cart as a mouthpiece btw cos I like whistle tips. Sadly no drip-tip can be made that way
