Thanks again everyone. Now it's the next day and my pallet has cleared (the burnt taste was in my mouth for HOURS, a shot of vodka helped, though...) I washed it as advised last night dried it as much as possible and left it to rest overnight. Today decided to just keep it simple and try using the 510 carts that I bought for it first to break the atomizer in. I filled one with an ejuice that I like in my 510T atomizer ... and...

It's still there, the burnt taste is very faint, but it's there. I vaped for a good while not inhaling, and not letting it get too warm... Next I'll try boiling water. But first *soak* it in everclear.

I have four thoughts:

THOUGHT ONE: Maybe it's ruined. $9 down the drain live and learn.

THOUGHT TWO: Maybe I just don't like the 510 flavor, could that foamy stuff in the cart be causing a different flavor? I'm using the same e-juice, same battery and the 510 tastes ever so slightly of tangy metal, yet the 510T is just as sweet and clean as a summer's day... maybe they just have different tastes?

THOUGHT THREE: Could it be defective?

THOUGHT FOUR: Maybe cleaning will work this 2nd time...
