Dripping VS Carts on the penstyle...

So I got my new penstyle from bestecig today, and IM not sure what I think of it.

Its seems as I am only getting any kind of a good hit when I drip, but even with two drops IM only getting about 4 good puffs before nothing.

When I fill a cart full, I seem to get no throat hit and not much flavor... Im not sure if its the new atomizer thing, or the fact that Im just used to the 901.

Any suggestions?

i found that you really have to give it a work out before it works well however i still drip its weird sometimes i dont have to drip often and other times i do. just seems it works better at one time or another. who knows , i always set my atomizers with the lsrge hole standing up on a piece of kleenex to drsain off the excess liquid when not in use.

In my relatively short experience (I also have BE penstyle along with 2 different minis 901/4081) - I am still getting less harsh throat hit than my minis. (901, and rn4081). Also I realized that when I hold the penstyle on the tip of my lips and slowly inhale, I get the much better flavor. Normally with minis, I get some harsheness with it. Sometimes I do crave for those hits and harshness - but I've find in time, I became accustomed to 801's easier draw and more relaxed pace.

I only do carts, and I constantly top it off as often as possible. One of the reason is that if I draw too hard, it seems like the liquid is not being supplied to my atomizer fast enough, and end up tasting some weird hot wax-like taste. If I go nice and easy/slow - I get the full flavor, a lot of vapor that fills my lung. But as I said before, not much throat hits.... Another reason that I stay with carts is that 801 atomizer is just very hard to drip, as the wick is down... at least a good inch and half deep, and hard to aim.

I think you are still using it like your 901, so give it some time and take some time with your 801 to re-learn that device... and it will reward you in a different level.

Some or most RN4072 penstyle atomisers I have had seem to start gunking up the cart after some time of use, if continued they will no longer be able to suck the juice from it properly. When this happens what the pen is really telling me is that its ready to start its life of direct dripping! I then tame the beast with 2 drops of delicious e-liquid deep into the center of the atomiser body and then the real vapor starts!

Ive been playing with my pen all day! (Damn that sounded aweful! haha)

I've found that if I pull the cart material out about a quarter of an inch so its sticking out of the end of the cart, drip directly on the cart stuffing, Im getting loads of vapor, and a few drops are lasting me quite sometime now!

Im also getting great flavor (Esmokeytreats watermelon MMMMMM) and quite a kick!

Im slowly starting to love the pen!

i use a be112 atomizer for dripping...have been for 10 days and 2 weeks with carts before that.

i put 5 drops every time i drip... i removed the white plastic stuffing holder from the mouthpiece.

dripping is a much better experience for me

Two drops can flood an atomizer; five drops might kill it. How do you get any vapor at all for the first few draws. Do tell how this is working for you. Even using my high voltage vaping mods, I rarely ever put more than three drops in an atomizer; two on the bridge and one on the inside of the barrel.

when the be112 atomizer is dry...i put 5 drops down the middle of the atomizer where the wick is..replace the cap and just vape...never had it flood.

with my 801 atomizer i put 3 drops as it starts to leak a bit if i put more.

the 901 atomizer i put 4 drops.

i never once had them flood or give poor performance since dripping
