Had this DSE 901 for about a week lets say and im starting to notice changes. Im noticing im having to drip carts every few minutes as im not getting any throat hit... and it just doesnt feel like the way it should like it did when i bought it...

Anyone have any suggestions... i have two atmoisers and seem to be having the same issue with both so pretty sure there not broken.

Also i tend to drop into the cart itself, would i be better dripping directly into the atomizer?

filtration foam

is that the exact name for it? i will go to my local pet store tomorrow if thats the case...

I think it's Fluval brand here in the states, not sure since I got the pre-cut one. It's used to filter aquariums. Get the smallest one, all you need. When you cut it, cut into squares twice the width of cart opening, then squeeze into cart like that picture in the second link I gave.

I would say the atty needs cleaning before I'd worry about the cart itself. You should have other carts. Try them all and see if you get the same result. If so, it's the atty. If not, then it's the cart. I would buy a new cart before I worried about replacing the guts. Replacing the guts of a cart was something we all went through a few years ago before cartomizers and tanks came out. From coffee filters to paper towels, we tried all kinds of stuff. I think most people ended up using polyfill you use to make pillows and things with. You can get it from walmart really cheap in big bags. Only problem is, almost anything you stick back into it is going to be very flammable. This is why I'd just get a new one. Or upgrade to an e-cig that uses cartos or clearos be rid of the hassle of dealing with attys/carts altogether :)

yeh thanks saw that link and yeh will do. Thanks for your help as im pretty sure carts are the issue here as when i put a new one on it works fine, they all seem to be glocky and crappy after a while of dripping

I used the "stock" carts for months with blue foam. Both foam and white polyfill can be washed and re-fluffed. Just this week, I moved on to bigger carts like these BreezEsmokes - Premium Electronic Cigarettes, don't know if they ship to UK. If they don't, also check FreedomSmokeUSA

Or, check out cartos at Liberty-Flights.co.uk.

edit: you should be able to drip 7-10 drops into a functioning cart, use paperclip to help juice settle.
