dripping with a clearomizer question

I would like to drip using a mini vivi or something like that. My understanding is the clearomizer needs to be filled so they say it is not true dripping. I was wondering what about putting in unflavored juice and then drip in the tip to try new flavors. Will this work or is there some sort of shield I would put in the flavors will not contaminate the unflavored juice?

i can't imagine how that could possibly work.

the vivi uses wicks, like a candle. dripping can't saturate them. in fact, vivis are known to give dry hits when the tank gets low, but still has liquid

just use a cheap atomizer or cheap RDA from fasttech.

Theoretically if you have access to the coil section you could apply some juice directly to it to saturate it and vape that as "dripping." I can't imagine you'd get more than one good hit though, if that. Like dwallen said, just buy something designed for dripping, you can usually get a 510 atomizer for about $5.

Just get a drip atty as suggested, they are cheap and easy to use, great for trying out juices. bnrk

I do have an old ego-t atomizer, it had a little separate plastic tank that have the tip attached. The tank just pushed in to the atomizer. Is there something I could buy for that one?

i know absolutely nothing about ego-t attys, but if what you refer to as a tank is just an empty tube of plastic, then that'd probably work.

just remove the tank, drip 3-5 drops onto the atty, then replace the tank/tip, then vape.

if it didn't work, then the gag reflex will tell you so

It's worth a try. I will have to go look for my old case with it in it and see if it works. I will make sure I clean the old tip with vodka to get out any old flavors

again, i know nothing about that atty, but a vodka bath between tastings might be overkill. this video is about a fairly hi-end atomizer, but it's what i do on this one as well as all my cheapies that i use to test juices on

note that dry-burning may kill your atty. hopefully someone will chime in who has more experience with your atty

I haven't tried it yet with that setup but tried it in a 901 and couldn't get the taste of menthol out with the dry burn., menthol is a hard one to get rid of..oh well..just have to find my old tank.
