quick question for you guys :)

i just got my first ecig in the mail today, an ego-w. im really happy with it, but so far ive only used it as a tank. if i want to drip with it, how many drips at a time should i drop into the coils, and how many puffs will it give me before i have to drip again?

also, does it matter if there is liquid in the tank when i drip, or should the tank be completely empty before i drip onto the coils?

thanks for the help!

Welcome , but the Ego w's carto tank , doesn't lend itself to direct dripping . But that being said , the Ego has the standard 510 threading . So you can go on-line or to a local B&M , and buy a dripping atty ( usually has the bridge removed ) A lower ohm atty. would probably be best , considering your usualbe voltage . Anyway , you will probably need to clean it , before you use it , as most come with a primer juice , that tastes like crap . Then you can start out with 3 or 4 drops , and see how that goes . You should be able to hit it , three or four times , before needing to drip a few more drops on it . If you want one that will take alot more drops . Try looking at the Smok RDA or octopus . Very cheap , and will hold at least 10 to 1 drops , so you can vape it a lot longer , than a standard atty . Good luck .

thanks for all the useful info. can you perhaps send a link to a couple atomizers that would be good for me to try out? also whats a good range for ohms on an atomizer if im going to be using it on my ego battery? I think the device is something like 3.7V, you probably know exactly what it is though lol

i read on the site that i bought the ego-w from that it can be used as a tank or for dripping. i guess not!

Any standard atomizer will work (but I don't mean "ohms" I mean common). Like a joye 510 or other.

Some people think that "dripping atomizers" are cool or something. I happen to respectfully disagree. I've only tried a couple, but of the highly touted ones, they lasted less time than a plain old atomizer.

The regular atomizer, with bridge and mesh and innards, holds on to the juice in the bridge just as designed. So they are fine for dripping too.

Of course, if you want to pay extra, go ahead and order some "special" dripping atomizer that won't last as long and gives exactly the same flavor as a regular atomizer...I don't care what they say. It's all a coil in a cup in the bottom.

True, I haven't tried em all. And YMMV. But don't let lack of some "special" stuff stop you from dripping. Just get a 510 atty. I like the authentic Joye ones.
