I kept an old atomizer that had a ruined wick, and I use it (sans spike and wick) in an extra eRoll I have for dripping sometimes in the evenings or especially to try new flavors. The vapor volume and flavor are heavenly! A couple good drops is all you can do at once but you get half a dozen monster hits from it. Easy to do a quick dry burn for cleanup and I use a new dry tank. You obviously have to keep the device pointed down to prevent messes. Just curious if anyone else has used their eRoll this way.

Yes, more details, please!

In about a week, my brother-in-law will be visiting. He's a 2-3 pack a day chain-smoker who claims to want to quit but has never made it more than a few days cold turkey. He already tried a "gas station" cigalike (no idea which one) and abandoned it pretty quickly, so I really want to give him a taste of something better in the vape world.

He's obviously still in the must-look-like-a-cigarette, must-taste-like-a-cigarette, don't-want-to-mess-around-with-it-much mindset. So I picked up an eRoll kit just for him, with a few sample tobacco flavor juices to try. And I have my entire collection of flavors at the ready, as well. Dripping would be a great way to help him find a juice that works.

Of course, I could always set up one of my eGos or my Vamo for dripping, but he already thinks they're too weird for him. If I can get him using the eRoll from the get-go, seems like the chance of success might be better ...

You simply take the top spike and wick off an old atomizer and put the body of the atomizer back in, ad a couple drops directly onto the coil, assemble with a shield and empty tank and vape it. You just have to keep the device pointed down to keep from dumping the juice from the atomizer. Takes a couple primer puffs to get it going then hang on. As soon as it starts to fall off, quit inhaling or you will get a hit of burned flavor as the coil goes dry. To clean it up do a few three second dry burns by blowing in the end of the battery in front of a mirror. When the coil glows cherry red and produces no more vapor, it's done and ready for a new flavor.

I agree that dripping is not conducive to the eRoll but if you have an old atomizer with a good coil, it can be done. The eRoll is my primary device so it has come in handy when getting together with friends to try different juices a couple times. Obviously you would not want this to be your device of choice for dripping if you have other options.
