Can someone please point me to a thread about dripping or tell me how it works. i tried searching, but the search only works by keyword so its pulling up irrelevant threads that happen to have the word ''dripping'' in a post. My main question is how to drip. is there any difference between using a drip tip and pulling the filler out of a cart? Also ive seen people talk about de bridging or de wicking or something. What does that mean? thanks in advance

Here's a vid that shows how to drip
YouTube - How to Drip a 510 Atomizer

If youtube works the same for you there are several other vids listed to the left on the same subject.

You can try dripping without a drip tip. Using a drip tip just lets you drip without taking off the cartridge. Dewicking and debridging involves removing parts of the atty. Some feel it gives a better vape and helps prevent residue build up on the atty. Once you remove these components you can't use that atty with a cart any more. I'd suggest you decide if you like to drip before trying to remove anything and then practice first on a dead or almost dead atty. You can ruin the atty if you do it wrong so a practice run without any consequenses is a good idea IMHO.

This is your experiment but I suggest dripping right into the atty first before dewicking or debridging, although they both work great. Drip about 3 drops and you might get 10-15 vapes off it...if it's somehthing you like then dewick one and see if you notice much of a difference. I did find my dewicked atty got rid of the burnt taste. A debridged atty is good too. I only drip because I don't vape all the time. If you plan on vaping for long periods the cartiomizers are the best. Whatever you do, make sure you have extras to experiment with, you will find what is right for you...good luck :)

taking the bridge off killed it for me i dont like it at all ] dripping is great i dont even take my wick out , if you do like dripping you sould try a 306 atty with a drip tip they are the best imho same threads as 510 so they dont require any adapters i just use the 306 as is and its the best vape ive ever had

You have to be really careful if your battery has a hole in the middle of the threaded end. Lots of automatic batteries and some manual ones do. If you drip with that kind of battery there's the potential for liquid to drip into the battery hole.

Drip tip lets you drip without removing anything. You drip into it, and it is also your mouthpiece. I like the aluminum drip tips - the liquid drips easily down the inside of aluminum or steel, not so easily down the plastic ones. And don't try to drip and drive.
