Driptech DS clone button fix????

I don't even understand how this button works, well something moves and makes contact, i get that, but what can be done to improve the contact? I've taken it apart and tightened everything with no extra pieces left over , coated all the parts with Deoxit Gold , screwed and un-screwed the button , nothing helps, . Has any one solved the button issue??

nevermind i think i got it,the screw in the contact of the button was loose
