i bought a mech mod,2 vtc 4 batteries, haka tester, and im waiting for my clt v2 plus...now i want to ask some things to know that i will vape safe...i ask the guy in the store when should i charge my battery and he said below 3.4 y should charge(and my thoughts were that he means i can go in 0.1 ohm and wait for my battery to go to 3.2?i dont think this is right, and if he is right whats the point of ohm calculator?) and also he means 3.4 with the rda in the haka tester or just the battery? In addition how can i gain from haka tester?i mean the vol when i put the battery and the rda are different than the battery itself.i read the board ohm here on the forum but i see in 0.4 ohm 10.5 amps in 4.2v the min y can go,but what does i happen when the vol drops.i dont know if y undrestand my probs but it really need to clear all these staff before i start dripping...ty

A battery will lower in voltage whatever you use it on. The maximum charge, aka fresh off the charger is 4.2v, and after you have vaped on it for some time, it drops down to 3.4v where you need to recharge it.

For subohming, you need to know the maximum constant discharge limit of your battery in amps, I personally use 35amp batteries, which in theory are safe down to 0.2ohms, but I have no idea what the CDR (Constant Discharge Rating) is on a VTC4 battery.

There is a blog by a forum user who goes by the nick 'Baditude', look at his blog for safety precautions and beginner battery safety.

When using a subohm coil, the charge of a battery is more shorter in time (from 4.2v fresh off the charger to 3.4v when you need to put the battery back on the charger) than using regular over 1.0 ohm coils.

For example using a battey I use, which is a 35A 2200mah battery, using a 0.2ohm coil which pulls 21 amps of power, the battery would in theory last about 15 minutes if constantly used, e.g coils being fired all the time for 15 minutes. A 2200mah battery can last an hour if discharged at 2.2 amps, so the lower you go, the shorter the usable time with the charge in the battery.
