Probably fine, as degnr8 says. Set it all the way low, vape, and near highest (depending on what coil value you have on it - don't want to burn it) and vape. If there's a difference in the vape, it's still adjusting the voltage and probably just pushed the knob a bit too firmly against the body.
And a good excuse to get another something as backup
If the adjuster doesn't work, it's pretty easy to fix. Just pull the knob off. Gently pull the plastic bit with the other knob down toward the end and put it back together. Make sure the little tab on the outside knob lines up with the slot on the inside one.
