Dropped My Batteries !!

This may be a stupid question but i just want to confirm for the safety of my device.

when to my local vape shop this afternoon to pick up some more 18650 batteries, on the way out to my car they fell out of my hand on to the concrete from about 5 feet. The batteries arnt physically damaged, they have no crack or sign of damage but what im worried about is the inside. Do you think that would of caused some internal damage of some sort ? they both work fine but i value my safety over the batteries. Should i just throw them away and get new ones ?

All of my battery's have taken several 4 foot drops onto a hardwood floor by now. Never had any problem with them, except for their bad habit of jumping out of my hands. They have also taken many many drops while installed in mods.

As long as there is no visible damage I would just be a little careful the first time I charged them and the first time I used them.

I've seen batteries with indentations on the end when they were in a mechanical mod and dropped. I wouldn't trust that. Yours should be fine if they appear ok.

Lucky you, I've only dropped one battery a 26650 battery and the thing like burst out of the wrapping. Like a biscuit can that pops -_- So Now I don't even hold a battery unless I'm over the couch or my bed.

I've dropped batteries and mods with no problems also. If it looks OK (no dents or wrapper damage) then it should be fine. But watch for anything funny happening during charging or use for the first few times you use them just to be safe.
