It fell out of my pocket through a hole I didn't know I had. Now, The outer sleeve is slightly raised above the threaded screw area in the center. What's strange is, it doesn't seem the whole sleeve shifted - the USB connection is still unchanged, and the bottom of the battery doesn't seem misaligned at all. One thing, however, is the button is jammed.

I tried finding similar issues out there on the web and failed. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone familiar enough with batteries like this to suggest a course of action? I'm hoping it can be salvaged, otherwise I threw that $60 out the window (pocket)? after a month

Two pictures attached for detail.

thanks everyone

My advice is to consider it damaged and don't screw around with it. Just get another battery. I know that's probably not what you want to hear but you have no way of knowing what damage might have happened inside the sleeve to either the cell or circuitry. You might be able to tap down the sleeve and release the button but that may just be the next step towards a failure mode you do not want to experience.
