Hello,
I accidentally dropped my iStick from about 1-2 feet onto hard floor. It seems to be alright, I've vaped it and it seems to work fine, no signs of the LiPo batteries heating or something, but I'm still worried about them venting, as I've read, that the batteries inside the iStick have a soft casing, meaning the batteries are prone to denting on impact. I'm a bit worried about it suddenly venting during my sleep :D
It's been about 8 hours since the drop though, and the iStick seems to work fine, so I don't even know what to think. What do you guys/gals think?

I would think you would be OK.

But I would keep my eye on it (or Any Mod that had a Hard Fall) for any signs of Problems. Like Running down Faster than Usual. Or getting Hotter than Usual when Charging.

Always turn of the device when not in eye sight.

If in doubt? He only dropped it. If I had to dispose of ever mod I dropped from 1 or 2 feet off the ground I would be broke.

If the OP is concerned about His/Her iStick 50W, or would Sleep Better at night if they got a New One, I would say get a New One and have the Old One as a backup.

What does a iStick 50W cost? 5 Days worth of Cigarettes at a PAD?

I just love how everybody talks about isticks, and especially the 50w as if they are mini atomic bombs in disguise and one day they may collectively explode if the evil master from China decides to push the "istick explode" button.
Apparently there was a bad batch, or maybe two, but overall these are great, durable and safe devices.
Pick any item from your household, even the one you deem most reliable and safe and then google it. You will find just as many disgruntled, unhappy people that have had bad experiences with it as with the istick 50.
People don't share good experiences for the most part... but they are very, very vocal about bad ones.
