First off I want to say that this may be the wrong forum, I wasn't sure where this belonged most, please move if necessary.
So I spontaneously ordered an istick 50W, and it should be here friday. I've only been vaping for a couple months now, and have spent most of that time exclusively using an Aspire Sub Ohm battery and Atlantis combo. The way I saw it, I wouldn't have to worry as much about the dangers of batteries, and it took all the work out of it. I just wanted to vape. I ordered the iStick 50W to change things up, since I needed a second battery to make sure I could chain vape while out at a bar with out worry. Now, I've read quite a bit, between google and this forum, but I feel like I'm not grasping the Ohms law. I see a lot of people writing about using a range of wattages with the Atlantis. I see it's recommended between 20w and 30w, and I've seen a lot of people using it up to 45w and 50w. I even read at least one person saying it could safely handle up to 80w. Now, what I never see is anyone mentioning what voltage they're using. Is the iStick going to automatically set the voltage based on the watts I choose and the ohms of my atomizer?
I feel like these are more statements than questions, but I can't figure out what the question I'm trying to pose is. I'm hoping starting a conversation here will bring to light what I'm missing, or where I'm confused.
