These things are built sturdier than a brick. Dropped it pretty hard on my floor today and my first thought wasn't OMG my mod it was OMG my floor!

Needless to say I have a nice crack in the bathroom porcelain tile now courtesy of my butter fingers and my Provari ..

Had it been my old eVic I'm sure it would have disintegrated on impact.

Thanks Pro vape!!

Perhaps the eVic makers could market their PV as the safer option for the surface of your floors!

Or perhaps eVic owners should offer classes to Provari owners how to not be fumble-fingered klutzes who carelessly treat their $200+ mods like basketballs.

Just sayin'...

One word for you to consider in the future:

OR, it could be that Evic owners are just painfully aware that they're holding a fragile object, and are, as a result, more careful.

I treated the eVic exactly like all my other mods. I put it on my heavy computer desk standing upright while I was on the computer actually right next to my Provari. What I didn't account for is that the eVic is taller, lighter and with a full carto tank tends to be quite top heavy. The Provari on the other hand is extremely solid with a lower center of gravity. So I get up and slightly bump the desk which happens all the time, Provari barely moves and eVic goes flying off the counter. Mind you this is about an hour after I received it new. I pick it up not even thinking there would be a problem because it was such a light fall onto carpet. Low and behold the little navigator ring must have gotten crimped slightly and it started sticking to either side when selecting stuff. I got it warranty replaced and sold it immediately after receiving the replacement. After putting it up in the classifieds I could only get $65 for it with extra shorty 18350 tubes and I was still glad to get rid of it at almost half what I paid for it. Not only is it cheaply made with inferior materials but it also becomes less accurate the higher the voltage and the less of a charge you have.

I don't think there's anything I could learn in a class from eVic owners except how to deal with a horribly made cheap Chinese mod.
