That is fine workmanship on the repair, just be sure that boot/shoe lace? doesn't exert enough pressure on the power up button to raise the wattage unexpectedly/automagically.
It's a hair tie with rubberized stuff on the inside so it doesn't slip. It's not exerting enough on the up button to change it, I made good and sure of that! Thanks for checking though!;)

No I don't because I threw it away. I was so dumbfounded when it happened, that I just chunked it in the trash. It was a coil I got from the Wish app, so it's possible that it wasn't an actual Smok coil.
Also, I had to completely trash the outer ring of the coil to remove it from the upper part of my tank. I was able to just unscrew the bottom part and chunk it though.

Ahh OK now I think I understand how it separated. That is still crazy that the coil snapped like that but the glass remained in tact.

This is why we have back-ups, then back-ups for our back-ups, then back up replacement glass, then back-up tanks, then back-up glass for our backup glass. .. then of course back-up batteries, back-up coils for our backup coils..

Once that's done, you'll never break anything again! Hahaha

This is true........haven’t broken a thing since I stashed a bunch of backup gear years ago. Guess that proves backups really work...even if we never use them.

It happens to all of us sooner or later. Just last week I dropped my kbox mini. I had a provari in my hand but forgot the kbox was in my lap. Laid the provari down, got out of the car and wham!!!!! kbox hit the ground. Picked it up and handed it to hubby. Was picking up meds for Mattie (that is her over there in my avi) and when I came back out hubby let me know it was broke. he could hear something rattling inside it. Fortunately it was just the battery rattling around. The neg post had gotten pushed in too far so wasn't holding the battery tight. Got home and hubby fixed it right up.

I ALWAYS take more than one device with me when leaving the house. You just never know when that backup is going to come in handy. Sounds like yours was a much more serious mishap though. hopefully all your orders will come in quick and you can put this painful event behind you :)

Wow, quite a break. I am always astonished when I drop something and it DOESN'T break than the reverse. So if anyone wants to see a mod fall, bounce, and be miraculously okay, come on over to my household.

(Excluding glass tanks, I break those just by looking at them, apparently. :)

Glad you are still vaping and moving on... Best of luck.

I guess the secret to having a setup you can drop 10 times during an afternoon is buying one of those that people say sucks! My RX200S hit the cement so many times installing the Plow Mount of my truck today it was ridiculous my tank survived!

Now I have the Panguu Tank on it and Sub Ohming in TC!

Happens to all of us sooner or later. I have yet to break a mod but I did break a tank once. You know why it broke right? It is because your mod was racing red. That adds 20 mph to the fall you know lol.
Thanks
Haha, yeah, that must be it! Maybe the new holographic one will hide it from falling (jumping) out!

It's always nice to have a reason to buy something. But if that mod, ignoring the cosmetic defects, still works I'd throw it in the back of a drawer in case I ever needed one for backup.
Yeah, I'm going to keep it for a backup mod. So now I'll have 2 of them. I'll try not to drop this new one! I'm hoping my coils come in today too.

Here's the damage and my Jerry-rigging of my mod. I can still use it, but it freaks me out! So I broke myself this week and ordered a new one, in holographic rainbow no less! If they'd have had purple, it would've been another story. I'll post the pic of my pretty new one when I get it after this weekend. In the meantime, here's my mess up.View attachment 704483 View attachment 704485
Ponytail holders should be in every redneck's toolbox, right next to the WD40 and duct tape.
