Hey guys,

I dropped the Reo Grand again today, forgot I left it on a shelf in the van whilst at work and it was high up. An almighty crash reminded me of it when I had to brake hard because of an idiot cutting me up at the last second going for a slip road.

Could not stop and take a look as I was on the motorway, got to base and opened the side door to see the poor thing drop onto the concrete as it had slipped down the side door well, I was gutted!

Put the door back on the Reo and thought, this is it.... I finally killed it....but no it shrugged it's shoulders even with a chip on its side and vaped straight away as if nothing happened.

This poor thing is battered and bruised but all of it's chips and blemishes are all mine and it adds character. I bet there is no other vaping mod that could handle the beatings.

I knocked my Lewis hammertone with the pdib mother (of all) board door unabated from counter to the hardwood floor yesterday.

It landed on the bottom corner of the mod. Yep nice angular divot in the floor. Picked it up (after yelling up to my wife that I'm ok who yelled down inquiring after hearing that loud noise) And inspected it, not even a scratch. But the vape was off - felt weaker. After a few hits of weak vape I pulled the top off the RBA and checked screw tension.

One screw was loose. Tightened it and it was game on perfect. :)

I have my share of Reo dents in the wood floor.

I have sheered off at least 10 drip tips over the years dropping my Grand. Every time it lands drip tip first. The good news is, you can still vape it with the RM2 even if the bottom half is still stuck in the RM2. Just take shorter draws so the RM2 doesn't get hot, and don't cover the air hole with your lip. Works in a pinch until I can get home to get another drip tip.

I knocked one of my Reos over from a standing position to a horizontal position on the oak kitchen table.... My wife said "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?"

She couldn't believe how loud the noise was :) No damage to the Reo... :)

Thanks
Geo

It's shocking how loud they are in just a tip over. My dogs jump every time. Karen's covers do prevent this in a tip over.

Being I am part monkey I have the quick reflex to grab things that fall with my foot.

I will say this: The metal Grand seems to be all corners when it contacts the top of my foot and is kicked across the floor.

And yes, I check the Grand for injury before I look at my new bruise.

Karen's soft covers don't do corners!
