Do you have any small glass spice bottles you can clean out...maybe the spice has gone bad and needs to be thrown out anyway? LOL Anything small and glass will work in a pinch because they can be cleaned and won't hold any of the flavor from what was in it. Even small salt & pepper shakers and you can place plastic wrap over the top. You would have to use a syringe to get it out but hopefully you have one??

not really. i have my original menthol bottle that is almost empty. i may clean it and mix a new batch of menthol in it. i will check the kitchen though, just to be sure. there might be a bottle that is almost empty i can steal from the wife. LOL. michaels had some 3/4 oz bottles but of course they were sold out. going to hop on ebay and order some eye dropper bottles along with some glass bottles to mix in and some pipettes. i have enough juice to last me a few days so its no big thing, just an inconvenience.

wish there was a science supply store around, i would just pick up some test tubes and tube holder for mixing in. then i could just cap them till i had the bottles. but then again, if we had the science store they would have probably had the bottles i need. LOL. i will figure something out between tonight and tomorrow.

They make really small ball jars for canning these days...they're cheap, widely available and go in the dishwasher. When you're done using them for mixes, you can use them for extracts, drinking glasses, etc...

added: I use them to store nic in the freezer...I buy pg and vg by the gallon, so I use jars to hold smaller amounts for daily usage...they're great for general base mixing as well. The lids hold tight so shaking vigorously is not a problem ;) I'd be lost w/o my canning jars!

well, i ended up using a champagne glass, you know, the short wide glasses and it worked just fine for mixing. plus, its hard to miss when adding everything. LOL. for a bottle, well i went getto. i had an old bottle(still in date and still sterile and still sealed) that contact wetting drops came in. i cleaned it with soap and HOT water, let it dry. no smell and no residue and put my 6mls in that. its a HDPE bottle so noting can soak into it(no pores). the only problem is it isnt clear so hard to tell how much fluid is in it at any given time. have my mix steeping now and will let it rest a while and give it a try. ordering 50 bottles off of ebay in the morning. way to tire to do it now.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what to mix small batches (1-2ml) in? I only have 10ml glass dropper bottles and I'm finding out that it is impossible to get the last .5ml or so because the dropper can't suck it up. A bag of pipettes might help, but I would rather get a more appropriate container to do my small batches in since they almost always just go straight into a carto, and the bottles I have are really just to big.

I saw contact lens case as a suggestion, which I'll try for now, but can anyone think of something glass?

Wait, maybe a shot glass... Hmm...

35 cents a piece?
American Science & Surplus : Quarter-Ounce Bottles

What you really need are some 1 ml syringes though...
