My new Provari is being delivered in the morning-am SO excited. Only 1 worry is that i am bad about dropping things. My 2 year old GLV has taken the beaten and kept on tickin. But I was ready for the next level of vaping so the Provari is that for me.

Has anyone dropped their provari and did it survive or tear up the comp. components? I am really scared that I will end up breaking this expensive PV. Please share your story. Thanks. Jenn

Hi again.
I have dropped my ProVari at least five times from varying heights onto a concrete floor. A sickening sound, to be sure.
No damage to the internals save for one time the spring came loose from the end cap but that was easily fixable.
Honestly I treat it very rough. It's always with me & I have a very physical job. I don't think twice about taking it into the wild, but as you know I finally had to create the lanyard which protects it from at least some of my klutziness.
Your mileage may vary, good luck!

I was taking my dogs out at 4:30 am, still half asleep, and dropped mine on the cement...hard...I about had a heart attack, but it didn't do much damage at all. A couple of very small nicks in the standard end cap was all. Everything else still looks brand new, so I changed the end cap for the extended one I had and looks like I have a brand new Provari...LOL! :)

TWICE in one day the first week I had it, had it on my lap in work van and got out. Almost cried :( haha
Very sickening sound, broke a cartomizer from the connector - only the negative threads were left had to get it out by opening needlenose plyers, kind of like when a light bulb breaks in its socket. Absolutely no damage to anything but the powdercoating - this thing's a tank!

I've dropped my provari MANY times, and broken many attys....
The only time I had to have it repaired was when I threw it (slammed might be a better term)... so It can be broken- but not easily through normal dropping/tipping.

Tell us the whole story? hehe
Wasn’t there a bar fight or you were using the ProVari as a weapon in self defense? :p

Not exactly... you came to that conclusion because I said I wanted to hit the person I was arguing with and threw it down on the ground in anger- I promised I'd come clean with the rest of the story so here it is ...

I didn't tell you it was my wife arguing with me and if I had thrown a punch instead of my ProVari, it would have cost alot more-So I can honstly say my ProVari saved my marriage ... I left the cracked floor tile in the bathroom as a reminder ;-) .....
