As mentioned previously, I got a mini vivi nova from My Freedom Smokes. It's their version, not a Vision. (I love it btw) anyway, can I dry burn the heads on this thing? Started to once, but it looked like the wick near the coil was darkening right away and I was worried it was burning (the wick). I use very high VG and the coil gunked up quicker than I imagined it would!

Once I get an Ohm meter (all we have is a mutimeter that we can't seem to figure out) I plan to try my hand at rebuilding it- until then Id like to get the most out of what I have.

Don't worry. After you leave the wicks to dry out for a couple of hours. You'll see that they are not as dark. I had the same questions when I started out.

You will get conflicting answers as to whether you should dry burn or not. Important thing is to RINSE after dry burning. Don't believe everything you watch on youtube. The videos I watched only showed them filling and vaping straight after dry burning. DON'T!!!!
You must RINSE. If you do the rinsing in a cup or bowl, you'll be able to see the ashes from the dry burning. You don't want to be vaping that.

I hope to find some time in the next couple of weeks to post some pictures of before/after dry burning to help those who have the same questions I did.

Awesome- thank you! I have been dripping for pretty much the duration of my vaping career, so this cute little tank is a whole new ball game for me!

I always wondered about the rinse thing- seemed counterproductive to vape the remnants of what you had just worked to get rid of :-/

Thanks again :)
