Dry burning coil

i have à subtank mini . Using rba i want to dryburn the coil but how can i rinse iT with water if the base with rba stil on mine istick 50w? Thanks in advance

When I dry burn my full size rba deck I leave the bell housing off and heat the coil till red and run it sideways under the focet. Just the deck part only. The wipe dry and dry burn to get coil dry. The add cotton and reassemble bell and fill it up. I do same with my KFL.

Why don't you just Unscrew it from your iStick after you are done Dry Burning?

Or am I Missing something?

So i dryburn coil then get off THE istick rinse with water

Just take it off the istick to rinse it off, then you don't have to worry about water damaging anything.

BTW - Here is a Tip when you Dry Burn with a VW device like the iStick. Use a Low Wattage setting like 8W or so.

It is Easier on the Coil. And there is a Much smaller chance of Popping the Coil or Melting a Seal.

| rinse before dry-burning. That way I can do it in the office without a burning smell. Before you dry-burn most of the stuff is going to be water-soluble. Afterwards it is probably not going to be. If you want to get rid of the ash then a stiff artist's paint brush and a pipe-cleaner are probably your best tools, rather than water. I don't bother though.

I take it off the mod to rinse it.

First close the air flow vents on the base and rinse with hot water to remove any traces of e-liquid and blow dry. Just the base without cover or cotton "common sense, but you never known who reads this lol". I dry burn at 15watt until red hot, release the fire button and run it under cold water with the mod tilted so that the water runs through the coil opening. Blow out the excess water and repeat 2 more times. That coil will look brand new. This works on any rebuildable atty.

Yeah, definitely rinse the eliquid off before dry burning, ain't really gonna get very clean just burning more liquid onto it.

Btw this does work on prebuilt coils like the Kangertech OCC, but cotton must be removed first. I've rebuilt my OCC a bunch of times. Again rinse the coil assembly with warn to hot water to remove traces of e-liquid before dry burning.

If you heat the coils until they glow a few times, any liquid that was burned on to them will be turned to ash. There'll be nothing left. Cleansed by fire!!!
