im using an atlantis 2 with the .3 ohm coil and im using it on an eleaf istick 50 watt. my first coil from the pack was good. then went that burned out i put in a new coil and it keeps dry hitting. So i changed the coil. Dry hits on that one too. And on a third coil. Same liquid as i was using with the wattage at about 47-50. Why would it be dry hitting like this? also, it seems to be getting way too hot at those wattages

alright so it wasn't my coil burning. it turned out to be the juice. i don't know what changed between coils but the juice for some reason is the problem. I just switched to my cinnamon roll flavor and the flavor is great. So that brings me to my next question. Why would the juice taste burnt?
Don't know if this would've helped you but I shake my bottle before filling the tank. For me it makes a huge difference. Nic tends to settle giving me a peppery or burnt taste if I don't shake it first.

Whats the pg/vg ratio of the problem juice? I know my Atlantis had some problems with really heavy VG juice. It just wouldn't wick properly and I would get dry hits. If its a high VG you could possibly cut it with some distilled water.
And here my jooz is 80-90% VG & the Atlantis coils wick it just fine. Temperamental buggers for sure.

i use my local vape shops "max vg" which is what they call an 20/80 pg/vg . I've never had a problem with any other flavors or atomizers while using my atlantis. except for a flavor from mt baker vapor did the same thing one time and i never used that again. it was just funny because at the vape shop i tried the liquid and it tasted really good in their hardware and then in mine it tasted burnt.
