Is it the way I wrapped it or is it just the juice

I crush the cotton by rolling a small rope between my thumb and forefinger. I make one end really thin and wet it slightly with a drop of water on my finger to help keep it together. Cut the end off to make it clean, insert and pull through with tweezers. I consider it too much if it gives me more than a little resistance to being pulled through.

That is pretty subjective still though as your feel for resistance is probably different from mine. What will work for sure is to try different amounts and see how they work. You will find a happy medium between too much cotton and not enough :thumb:

Do a search here for the dragon, rather then put the wick through the cotton, lay the cotton underneath and around the coil. It allows air to pass through the coil as well as give more heating surface. Make sure to line the couch up with the air hole.
