Dry pre-filled cartomizers?

This is not a "rant" or attack thread. V4L has kindly addressed each issue I have raised to date, and most have been minor. I'm happy with the company and the products overall, and a grateful 3+ week ex-smoker.

But I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I have received five dry and / or odd /bad tasting batches of pre-filled cartomizers in my last 2-3 orders. Yes, I know (now) that blanks + juice is better, and that is the way I will be ordering in the future.

I'm just wondering if this is an issue where an old supplier is being phased out, and all the stock is old? If so, should these perhaps just not be offered for sale any more?

This is very frustrating for someone just easing out of the smoking habit, to have the nice package appear when supplies are getting low, only to find, yet again, that I have an un-vapeable product. It's enough to drive a man to analogs.

I am new to vapin myself but anytime i think mine are dry I reverse spin out the juice and see how much was put in there in the first place....some are lacking but im sure this was one of the reasons they are moving the op over here to the US!!!! Happy vapin!!

What cartos did you order? I have heard that some of the older cartos can be too dry...doesn't seem to be a problem with the Premiums, WOWs, and CoolCarts.

I can tell you that yes, I have had this problem before. Usually it's only one cart of 5 that's bad. I can also tell you that it's not limited to V4L. I used Premiumecigarettes before and they too had this problem occationally. I can agree that it us frustrating, especially in the beginning.
I cannot tell you if it's old stock or just faulty craftsmanship. Maybe the new company's carts will be better.

I'm sure they are filled with machines and machines mess up sometimes. I don't think V4L would sell them if they knew they were bad. I order the blanks 95% of the time so I guess that's why I never got any.

I have also received carts that were dry, or just didn't work. This has only occured on my most recent order.

I have had maybe 4-5 dry or nonfunctioning cartos in the past year.Ive recieved way more than that in free sample carts in that time,so I figure its OK and I can deal with that.I used another company and 1/2 the cartos were crappy and they were all the same color.They didnt even say what flavor they were.Thats a pain in the ....!I hated it.

I get a dry carto once in awhile, but like kezy said, the rest makes up for it! i just put it in the 'to be filled' pile.

I tried reviving some with new juice of the same flavor, but it didn't seem to take. Bad carts were 555, "Cool," and Wowboy. The 555's actually tasted *wrong*-- a sickly sweet chemical flavor. I'm in touch with customer service and will get it worked out, but I'm just not ordering pre-filleds (and from the other comments here, perhaps not from anywhere) and filling my own in the future.

Edit: And in response to the question, only the "Cool" cartomizers were the old style -- the rest were Wow. To be fair, the "Cool" possibly could just be *much* lower vapor than I'm used to, as the taste isn't off. I can taste them, but 0 visible vapor seems lower than even the non-Wow should be. On the other, other hand, I didn't mention a set of Capucchino which were technically vapeable, but had a really gross sweet taste exactly like a sample of "Cognac" I received as a freebie. I suppose they could have been a mislabel. I'm really pleased with the blank Cool Carts and juices, though. Looking forward to getting some more of those and putting this behind me.

I have had some dry and some that had dried the juice to a brown gunk that is inside and coming from the battery side. Seems like every time I get already filled carts this happens to me, so I just use blanks now to prevent the issue, but I didn't even try to revive them if they were like that, I just toss them due to the fact that dried gunk on the wick/filler is not going to all come off no matter how hard you try to clean them! (ewww)

The "Cool" flavor doesn't have a lot of vapor. They never have. That is why my mother in law liked them a lot, but she likes the taste of the peppermint now over the fact that she is supposed to be hiding the vapor at work..LOL

most likely the error is human.
